TRAVEL INFORMATION
THE ARRIVAL
The closest commercial airport to Kiawah Island is the Charleston International Airport (CHS). It is ~45 minute drive to the island.

We will be providing transportation to and from our welcome party and wedding reception, but guests will need to plan their transportation to and from the airport. Uber/Lyft do not operate in or around Kiawah. We recommend renting a car for the most convenient mode of transportation to and from the airport and so that you can explore the island on your own.
You can also use a car service and transportation company to reserve transportation to and from the airport for the weekend. Some of our favorites are linked below. Guests staying at the Sanctuary and the Andell Inn can also arrange this service directly through the hotel front desk.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE KIAWAH ISLAND MAIN GATE, LET THE ATTENDANT KNOW YOU ARE THERE FOR THE HILTON WEDDING. THEY WILL GIVE YOU A GATE PASS THAT WILL PROVIDE ACCESS THROUGHOUT THE ISLAND.

We encourage booking hotel rooms, villas, and houses through the Kiawah Island Resort, as these come with complimentary shuttle service around the island and a discount using our code (289). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Villa and Home amenities include everyday essentials in your Resort Villa, Private or Premier Homes. We ask that you first review EAST BEACH options when booking villas and homes for transportation purposes.

Resort Guests also have access to preferred tee times at the resort courses, outside the 60 days, in addition to savings on rounds.

ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATIONS
In addition to homes/villas available through the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, there are many properties that can be rented through Akers Ellis, Kiawah Exclusives, Sweet Grass Rental Homes, Airbnb, and VRBO.
If booking through one of these services, we recommend choosing a location near one of the following pickup points for wedding transportation for Friday and Saturday night: Turtle Point, Turtle Cove, Tennis Club, Night Heron Park, or Parkside.
